Lazy Fair Coffee Rubbed Steak

Ingredients

• 4 tablespoons of Lazy Fair Coffee Dry Rub®
• 2 16-ounce bone-in Ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Season steaks with 5 tsp. Lazy Fair Coffee Dry Rub® per steak (save any extra rub for your next steak). Place in the fridge to chill for 3-6 hours. (For maximum flavor let the steaks sit overnight.)

It’s important to have the steaks sit out at least 1 hour before cooking to bring up to room temperature. This will ensure quick and even cooking.

Preheat oven to 400°. Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Cook steaks 1 minute or so on each side to create a nice crust. Transfer skillet to oven; cook steaks until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part registers 120° for medium-rare, about 5 minutes. Transfer steaks to a cutting board; let rest 6 minutes before slicing.
